Past Meetings
IGCP 668 meeting in conjunction with the Myanmar Geosciences Society's Geomyanmar conference: Yangon, Myanmar, 6-8 Jan 2020
Post-meeting Excursion: Ye-Ngan township, southern Shan State 9-13 Jan 2020

Thank you to the Myanmar Geosciences Society and the Geomyanmar organizers for their generous support of our meeting. Participants in our session presented and discussed fascinating new findings and techniques that enable us all to continue to better understand the Cambrian-Ordovician transition. The post-meeting excursion provided the opportunity to explore the Cambrian-Ordovician deposits (as well as some Silurian) from the southern Shan State. This excursion contributed to the discovery of new horizons and fossils not previously known in Myanmar. Future publications on this material will be posted on the Publications page under the News tab. You can see pictures from the meeting and excursion on the Photos page.
